Chip Operators from Tokoroa were treated to a Training Seminar where they learnt how to cook BETTER CHIPS
\n<\/a>and improve their business. Seven businesses from all over Tokoroa attended the training, run by Training and

\n\"Tokoroa<\/a>Education Manager, Kate Underwood and Champion Chippie, Michael Huang.<\/p>\n

Michael Huang was able to share his knowledge about what it takes to grow a successful takeaway business, with his Award-Winning store, Oppies Takeaways in Rotorua.<\/p>\n

There was plenty of learning and discussion about temperature, oil type, cleanliness and tips about how to save money while still producing a quality product. Michael’s ability to speak both Mandarin and Cantonese meant that all operators were able to communicate, understand and ask questions.<\/p>\n

The session was held at the Raukawa Charitable Trust Centre and co-ordinated by local Health Promoter, KC Maaka.<\/p>\n
