Despite the chilly temperatures, Invercargill put on an impressive show at last weeks ‘Tips for Better Chips’ Seminar!
We had an incredible turnout with over 25 attendees, and one man who owns and operates 8 different stores throughout the Southland region. Having access to the Southern Institute of Technology Training Kitchen meant not only were we able to run through the video modules but we were able to do some deep-frying and show operators what it takes to cook better chips!
The seminar was a huge success and a big thanks to Nicola Mason and her volunteers from the Heart Foundation who did a great job helping to recruit! Also a big thanks to SIT for letting us have access to their kitchen facilities and of course all those businesses who attended including:
