Two weeks into the new role, and I am quickly learning everything there is to know about frying better chips! Welcome Bay Takeaways in Tauranga were my first official store visit. On a busy Friday night (with lines out the door!) his team of 10 staff were cooking up a storm in their open kitchen.
Speaking with owner James, he swears by the ‘Shake, Bang, Hang’ method. With their four certificates proudly displayed on the shop wall it was great to see them doing their bit to cook better chips.
