The Chip Group and Potatoes New Zealand are proud to present the 2018 People’s Choice Best Chips Competition, supported by Bidfood NZ Ltd. 
We are asking the people of New Zealand to shine the light on where and who cooks their favourite hot chips.
This award is purely a popularity contest, done by online voting on the Chip Group website. The chip shop with the greatest number of votes will win.
THE WINNER will be announced at the Chip Fest Event in Auckland on Thursday 20th September and receive: 
- Air NZ Mystery Weekend
- $500 Grocery Voucher
- Flights and Accommodation to Auckland to attend Chip Fest
- Pavement Sign and Framed Certificate
- Aprons, Caps and Chips
A list of the Top 15 chip shops will also be published.
ENTRY CRITERIA
- To be eligible to win – at least 1 staff member must have completed and passed Chip Group Full or Refresher training in 2018.
